Lemon scented leaves  are reminiscent of lemon candy, sweet with strong lemon and no sourness. The white airy flowers are small and elegant. Lemon verbena leaves are enjoyed in sun teas, marinades, salads, flavored liqueurs and simple syrups. It is native to tropical areas so in our area it is grown as an annual or can be planted in containers to bring indoors for winter.
